Hugo Patenaude is a partner in the Taxation Practice Group, and director of the Montréal offices' trusts, wills and estates section. His areas of expertise include tax and estate planning, trust law, wealth management, estate litigation and planning, asset protection, income splitting and pension plans. He advises clients on corporate reorganizations and proposes profitable strategies for business transfers and sale or purchase transactions. Mr. Patenaude also offers companies and individuals innovative tax and business solutions centered more specifically on the use of domestic and foreign trusts. He has also developed expertise in pension funds as well as compensation and incentive plans for executives and employees.
