Bannister Pipeline Company v. TransCanada PipeLines Limited, [2004] 8 W.W.R. 329 (Pipeline Construction Dispute Involving Tendering)
Led a team at trial successfully defending TransCanada against a claim by Banister for approximately $10 Million for breach of duty of care and negligent misrepresentation in the tendering process. Following a 5 week trial in Court of Queen's Bench, the Court delivered written reasons for judgment on August 1, 2003 holding that TransCanada was under no duty to disclose what companies were invited to tender.
