Appeared as counsel on behalf of British Airways in the B.C. Court of Appeal, who determined that the purported application of the provincial Workers' Compensation legislation did not extend to British Airways inflight crews temporarily residing within the Province. The Court determined that the application of the Act in this circumstance was ultra vires the Workers' Compensation Board and the Province of British Columbia.
