Susie Halasz commenced the action against Systech Retail Systems (Canada) Inc. for damages for wrongful dismissal from her employment with Systech.  The motion was brought within proceedings under the Companies Creditors Arrangement Act as amended by Systech for an order striking Ms. Halasz's Statement of Claim or alternatively staying the action commenced on the basis that the claim was compromised in the context of proceedings pursuant to which Systech and its affiliated companies were reconstructed under a plan of reorganization approved in the CCAA proceedings and in proceedings under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code.

The motion to stay proceedings in the context of a C.C.A.A. restructuring was successful.
