MacMillan Bloedel Limited v. The Province of British Columbia, 1997-1998
Retained as counsel on behalf of MacMillan Bloedel Limited when the Province denied compensation for the taking of certain MBL forest tenures for public park purposes. Petition filed on MBL's behalf seeking a declaration that compensation was payable. Following a lengthy negotiation, the claim was settled for $83.75 million.
