Kevin Holbeche, a member of the firm's Technology and Intellectual Property Group, presented a seminar titled Intellectual Property Basics and guided attendees at The Business Link's Calgary offices (and, via simulcast webinar, at their Edmonton offices) step-by-step through the basics of intellectual property including patents, trade-marks, copyrights and industrial designs.

The Business Link is Alberta's member organization in the nationwide Canada Business network coordinated by the federal government of Canada. Mr. Holbeche provided this presentation, in collaboration with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office and the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada, as part of the celebrations leading up to World Intellectual Property Day 2011.
