Internet Brands acquired by Hellman & Friedman in US$640 million deal
On December 17, 2010, investment funds managed by Hellman & Friedman LLC completed the previously announced acquisition of Internet Brands, Inc. (NASDAQ: INET), a leading Internet media company. When the deal was announced in September 2010, the transaction was valued at $640 million.
On December 16, 2010, Internet Brands' stockholders approved the going-private transaction at a special meeting of stockholders.
