Represented Prysmian in the context of a grievance filed by the Union following the termination of employment of a 27 years of service employee who failed to report to work at the end of a leave of absence due to invalidity. This employee was claiming a medical certificate of her attending physician and refused to comply to the employer's request to present herself at work based on a medical expertise. This case necessitated for the administration of a complex medical proof. The arbitrator uphelded the employer's position and rejected the grievance. Prysmian inc. v.
