National Instrument 31-103: A New Registration Regime

On July 17, 2009, the Canadian Securities Administrators released National Instrument 31-103 Registration Requirements and Exemptions in final form, which will come into force on or about September 28, 2009.  NI 31-103 is part of the registration reform project of the CSA and is designed to streamline and harmonize the registration requirements for dealers and advisers across the country.
