Ivanhoe acquires Montréal Eaton Centre
On July 4, 2000, Ivanhoe Inc. announced that it had purchased 100% ownership of the Montréal Eaton Centre for approximately $34 million and assumed its management. The Eaton Centre is the highest-performing shopping centre in Québec and is located in downtown Montréal. The transaction subsequently resulted in a major re-development of this key area of the city.
