Japan Airlines Corporation cross-border insolvency proceedings

On April 30, 2010, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) made an order under Part IV of the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act R.S.C. 1985, c. C-36, as amended, in respect to Japan Airlines Corporation, Japan Airlines International Co., Ltd., and JAL Capital Co., Ltd. (the "Applicants") recognizing the proceedings commenced by the Applicants in Japan under the Corporate Reorganization Act of Japan before the Tokyo District Court, Civil Department No. 8 as a foreign main proceeding.

Deloitte & Touche Inc. has been appointed Information Officer in the CCAA Proceeding.
