Christopher is a graduate of the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law. His interests are primarily in the areas of business, intellectual property and communications law. Prior to law school, Christopher obtained an Honours B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Carleton University, where he received the Claude Bissell Scholarship, the Murdoch Maxwell MacOdrum Scholarship, the David A. Golden Scholarship, the Senate Medal for Outstanding Academic Achievement, and stood on the Deans Honour List in all four years of study. In 2010, Christopher worked as an Administrative Assistant for Correctional Services Canada. He also worked as an Administrative Assistant for the International Trade Policy Division at the Department of Finance Canada, as a Compensation Service Center Agent and a Compensation Records Clerk for Public Works and Government Services Canada, as an Access to Information and Privacy Clerk for the Privy Council Office, and as Receptionist to Minister Ralph Goodale at the Department of Finance Canada in 2005, and Minister Geoff Regan at the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada in 2004. Christopher enjoys longstanding involvement in local minor hockey and men’s hockey associations, and is a passionate arts enthusiast. He is fluent in French.
