Montréal (Canada) Fasken Martineau, a leading international business law and litigation firm, announced today that Lise Rochette, a Partner in the firm's Montréal Real Estate practice, has been named "Lawyer of the Week" by Montréal's The Gazette newspaper.

Lise Rochette earned this distinction after playing a lead role in the recent purchase of OGILVY's department store in downtown Montréal. The acquiring Québec-based Private Investor Group is composed of Devimco Inc. co-owner Mr. Jean-François Breton, Champlain Financial Corporation, the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ and the BB Real Estate Investment Trust.
