Marvin Mikhail is a lawyer with a broad corporate and commercial practice, advising on mergers and acquisitions and reorganizations. In addition, Marvin regularly advises on shareholders' agreements, distribution agreements and other commercial agreements.
Marvin is also a member of the firm's Financial Institutions group. His activities in this area include advising banks, insurance companies, trust companies and credit unions on mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate and regulatory matters. He also advises on the incorporation and licensing of financial institutions and the licensing of foreign banks and insurance companies carrying on business in Canada as well as unregulated financial services providers.
In 2010, Marvin was seconded to Manulife Bank where he advised the Bank's business teams on a range of commercial and regulatory issues.
Marvin summered and articled with the firm's Montreal office prior to joining the Toronto office and he is a qualified lawyer in Ontario and Quebec.
