Fasken Martineau's Mathieu Leblanc-Gagnon elected President of the Jeune Barreau de Québec

June 30, 2010

Québec City (Canada) Fasken Martineau, a leading international business law and litigation firm, announced today that Mathieu Leblanc-Gagnon has been elected as president of the Jeune Barreau de Québec (Quebec City young lawyers association).

Mathieu Leblanc-Gagnon is a civil and commercial litigator, with a particular emphasis in construction, insurance and financial institution law. He is also involved in administrative law.
"Mathieu's position as president of the Jeune Barreau de Québec is a great source of pride for Fasken Martineau. We know that our ranks include many of tomorrow's decision makers, and Mathieu's election serves as yet more evidence of this," stated Claude Auger, Fasken Martineau Managing Partner, Quebec Region.

Mathieu Leblanc-Gagnon's election took place shortly after Mtre Antoine Aylwin, also from Fasken Martineau, terminated his mandate as President of the Association du Jeune Barreau de Montréal.
