Milacron Inc. cross-border insolvency proceedings

On March 10, 2009, Milacron Inc. and six of its affiliates filed under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code in Ohio. On the same day, Milacron Canada Ltd. filed recognition proceedings before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (the "Ontario Court") under section 18.6 of the CCAA. RSM Richter Inc. was appointed by the Ontario Court as CCAA Information Officer.

On August 24, 2009, Milacron completed the sale of substantially all of its assets to Milacron LLC, a newly incorporated company owned by a group of investors led by Avenue Capital Group and DDJ Capital Management LLC.
