Mobidia completes $9.5 million financing

On July 4, 2008, Mobidia Technology Inc. announced that it had completed a $9.5 million round of financing which involved a first $7.5 million tranche that closed in May, as well as a second and final $2 million tranche.

Mobidia, which is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, develops and sells IP traffic management software for monitoring, managing, and monetizing wireless data streams to and from smartphones and laptops.

Mobidia was advised in this financing by Steve Lukas and Benjamin Lee of Fasken Martineau.
