Munier Saloojee has a broad corporate and securities law practice, with extensive experience in investment funds. He is actively involved in advising a number of public and private investment funds and has assisted clients in launching a number of uniquely structured products. In addition to working closely with investment fund managers in launching new fund products, Munier has also advised on the restructuring and reorganization of investment fund groups and a variety of mutual fund acquisitions. He is also experienced in negotiating with third party service providers and communicating with regulatory bodies. With respect to more general corporate matters, Munier has assisted clients in the public and private sectors in structuring, negotiating and completing acquisition and financing transactions.
Munier also has experience advising banks and other financial institutions on the Canadian elements of financings, including cross border acquisition financings and project financings. He gained a significant amount of experience in this area while on a long term secondment to the firm's London, England office during 2003/2004.
