London (UK) - Fasken Martineau, a leading international business law and litigation firm, announced today that Catherine Moss has joined the firm as a partner, John Burnand has joined as an associate and Kayleigh Wilshaw has joined as a newly qualified solicitor. All three will be based at the firm's London office.

Catherine, John and Kayleigh were previously with Halliwells, a top 40 UK-based law firm that was recently placed in administration.

Catherine Moss specializes in corporate finance, including initial public offerings, secondary issues and public and private takeovers and mergers, generally with cross-border elements. Most recently, Catherine has advised corporate directors on restructuring issues, AIM Nomads on corporate finance transactions and M&A transactions.

John Burnand's practice focuses on corporate finance, private equity deals and public and private takeovers, including initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions. John has particular expertise in the structuring large cross-border transactions having practiced as a lawyer in Tokyo between 2000 and 2003.
