Meet Éric Bédard: Fasken Martineau's New Managing Partner in Québec

Montréal (Canada) - Fasken Martineau, a leading international business law and litigation firm, announced today that
Éric Bédard is taking office as Managing Partner for the Québec region.
Mr. Bédard is succeeding
Claude Auger, who has held the position since February 2003. Claude is now returning to his tax law practice with the Firm.

Mr. Bédard was called to the Québec Bar in 1989 and joined Fasken Martineau in the same year. He has been a member of Fasken Martineau's Board of Directors since 2007. His practice focuses mainly on the fields of labour and administrative law as well as strategic counsel. Mr. Bédard has thorough knowledge of Québec government structures and has represented clients preparing for legislative or regulatory changes, in their negotiations with government agencies, and before the National Assembly.
