On June 22, 2010, privately held NFI Industries announced the acquisition of IPD Global Inc.
NFI Industries is a fully integrated supply chain solutions provider headquartered in Vineland, New Jersey, offering logistics, distribution, transportation, intermodal and real estate services across the United States. IPD Global specializes in perishable-based air and ocean transport, intermodal and truck brokerage services and is based in Mississauga, Ontario.
Fasken Martineau advised NFI Industries in this acquisition with a team led by Stephen Erlichman and which included, among others, Wojtek Baraniak (corporate), Donna Gallant (employment) and Paul Casuccio (commodity tax).
