Nicolas Leblanc practices law principally within Fasken Martineau's Real Estate and Infrastructure practice groups.
He acts for various clients of the firm in the real estate, transportation and energy sectors and is involved in various transactional files as well as in the development of strategic projects that require a variety of interactions with administrative, government, and community stakeholders.
Mtre Leblanc advises the firm's clients in the negotiation of various real estate transactions, including sale and acquisition contracts, development agreements, commercial leases and real estate financings relating to a broad range of commercial and industrial properties. He also represents investors and institutional clients who are establishing and acquiring equity in real estate investment funds in the hotel and retirement home sectors.
He is also a member of the team of external legal counsels that advises Infrastucture Québec on the completion of the new Centre hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal and the McGill UniversityHealth Centre.
An active member of the Government Relations and Ethics practice group, Mtre Leblanc also advises Fasken Martineau's clients on their obligations under the legislative frameworks surrounding lobbying and relations with government authorities, both at the federal and provincial levels.
