Ontario Telemedicine Network incorporates as not-for-profit

Ontario's three telemedicine networks, CareConnect, NORTH Network and VideoCare, merged on April 1, 2006 to form a single, pan-provincial network. This collaboration enhances their ability to meet anticipated growth and improve the use of telemedicine resources as well as their collective capacity to attract additional resources from new partners hoping to invest in innovative telemedicine solutions. The Ontario Telemedicine Network was incorporated as a not-for-profit on July 1, 2006.
