Our lawyers and law students routinely provide pro bono legal services to help those who have difficulty in accessing the justice system.
Pro Bono Initiatives: Canada
Our recent pro bono activities include representing the Vancouver-based Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation
and the Canadian Civil Liberties Association
in a landmark case before the Supreme Court of Canada.
We also helped Espoir d’enfants (Children’s Hope
) Orphanage and School create a foundation that has raised $1.3 million in donations to rebuild after the devastating Haitian earthquake in 2010.
