Proximagen stands to get $232 million in deal for Parkinson's drug
On July 14, 2008, Proximagen Neuroscience PLC sealed a $232 million development deal with Upsher-Smith Laboratories Inc. for the development of PRXI, a preclinical-stage compound that is an improved formulation of L-Dopa, for the symptomatic treatment of Parkinson's disease.
Proximagen Neuroscience PLC was advised by June Paddock and Gary Howes of Fasken Martineau Stringer Saul.
