Reference Re Firearms Act, [2000] 1 S.C.R. 783
In this case, Paul Monahan acted aspro bono co-counsel for a number of intervenors (including the parents of the victims of the 1989 Ecole Polytechnique shooting) and made the oral submissions for the clients in the Supreme Court of Canada appeal on the constitutionality of the Firearms Act legislation. The constitutionality of the legislation, a position advanced by our clients, was upheld.
