Acted on behalf of Banque Laurentienne du Canada in a case involving a motion by the union to review its bargaining unit. The motion concerned more than 200 jobs and over 400 employees. The parties, after filling their position to the Canada Industrial Relations Board, began discussions that lead to a mutually agreed settlement in December 2005. A difficulty arose from the fact that there are very few precedents in this industry so that the parties had to develop their own criteria. In the end, the Board accepted the terms agreed by the parties.
