Robert's primary focus is in the areas of securities law, structured finance and financial products and investment funds. Robert acted as lead counsel on the establishment of several investment funds and as a director, in the management of such funds. As such, he has a in dept knowledge of the legal and business pitfalls and challenges of these funds. In addition, Robert has extensive experience in the structuring, offering and sale of structured products, such as principal protected notes and hedge funds.
His work involves a wide variety of corporate finance transactions which includes initial public offerings, private placements, corporate finance transactions and acting on behalf of issuers, underwriters and promoters.
Robert's corporate finance experience has involved issuers in industries such as multi-assets structured conduits, portfolio managers, business trusts, biopharmaceutical companies and includes merger and acquisitions and divestitures.
Robert provides on-going advice to public and private corporate clients concerning continuous disclosure obligations, shareholders communications, corporate governance issues and general corporate matters.
