SITQ Immobilier sells portfolio of 25 industrial properties in Montréal

On February 21, 2002, SITQ Immobilier, a subsidiary of CDP Capital (Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec) sold to an affiliate of the El-Ad Group a portfolio of twenty-five industrial properties in Montreal aggregating approximately 1,000,000 square feet of leaseable area. The total amount of the transaction was not disclosed by the parties.

Rémi Gagnon, Vice President and General Counsel of SITQ Immobilier, recruited the Montreal real estate group of Fasken Martineau to assist in the transaction with in house legal counsel Caroline Lévesque. Claude Gendron headed the group for Fasken Martineau and teamed up with Lise Rochette and Katherine Tremblay to handle the transaction, including notification to the Competition Bureau.
