Starfield Resources closes over-subscribed $5.1 million private placement

On December 9, 2010, Starfield Resources Inc. (TSX: SRU / OTCBB: SRFDF) announced that it had closed its previously announced private placement offering. The offering was oversubscribed, closing on $5,122,020.08 of gross proceeds. The offering consisted of $2,532,020.08 of flow-through units and $2,590,000.00 of common share units.

M Partners Inc. acted as the sole agent in connection with the offering.

Starfield was represented in this transaction by a team from Fasken Martineau including Craig Brown and Susan Newell (corporate/securities), and William Bies (tax).
