Stephenson's Rental Services buys A1 Equipment Rental for $43.8 million
On May 24, 2006 Stephenson's Rental Services Inc. completed the acquisition of A1 Equipment Rental Limited. Stephenson's is the leading tool and equipment rental company in the Greater Toronto Area; A1 is the second largest independent equipment rental company in the GTA and a leader in the rental market serving professional contractors.
The final purchase price of about $43.8 million was financed with available credit facilities provided by The Bank of Nova Scotia.
