Tasha Lackman practices in real estate, focusing mainly on the sale, acquisition and financing of real estate projects, for vendors, purchasers, borrowers and lenders in all aspects of transactions relating to commercial and residential properties.
In particular, Tasha has acted for a number of financial institutions in the financing of multi-property portfolios, both conventional and securitized.
Tasha routinely acts for both landlords and tenants in leasing matters, including the negociation of leases and dealing with operational issues.
Her practice also has an emphasis on issues of land use planning. She assists both public and private sector clients in regulatory aspects of new development projects including verification of conformity to zoning and building regulations, due diligence, changes in zoning, and building permit applications.
Community Involvement
Tasha Lackman is a board member of Girls Action Foundation, a national charitable organization that creates, inspires and supports social justice education for girls, young women and organizations across Canada.
