It was a New York moment this week for Montreal lawyer Peter Villani, lead on the legal team from Fasken Martineau LLP that advised shareholders of Montreal-based iCongo Inc. on a buyout/merger deal with Germany's Hybris AG and American private equity player Huntsman Gay Global Capital LLC.
Working alongside Villani, who heads up Fasken's Quebec mergers and acquisitions practice, were Claude Jodoin (tax), Jean-Philippe Mikus (technology and intellectual property), Nathalie-Anne Béliveau (labour) and Jean-François Séguin (corporate/commercial).They represented minority shareholders.
