Timbercreek Mortgage Investment Corporation closes offering of Class A Shares

On December 16, 2008, Timbercreek Mortgage Investment Corporation announced that it had completed its public offering of 1,003,480 Class A Shares of the Fund for gross proceeds of $10,034,800.

The Class A Shares were offered to the public by a syndicate of agents co-led by Manulife Securities Incorporated and Raymond James Ltd., and including BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., Dundee Securities Corporation, HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc., Newport Securities L.P., Burgeonvest Securities Limited and M Partners Inc.

The syndicate of agents was advised in this offering by Fasken Martineau with a team led by John Sabetti and including Dugan Edmison, Tina Chun and Daniel Fuke.
