Verna Cuthbert of Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP was just named in the 2009 edition of Women in the Lead / Femmes de Tête, a national directory of women whose professional expertise and experience recommend them as candidates for positions of senior-level responsibility and corporate board appointment. "It is an honour to be named as one of the 800 accomplished women from all accross Canada to be featured in the directory," said Verna.

The new directory was launched at a cocktail reception on October 30, 2009 at the headquarters of the Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec.

Women in the Lead Inc. is a not-for-profit organization whose primary mission is to assist qualified women in attaining positions of senior-level responsibility and corporate board appointment and to provide a source of information for organizations looking for appropriate women to place on boards and in leadership roles.
