EnStream launches Zoompass, Canada's first mobile payment service

On June 15, 2009, EnStream LP, a mobile commerce joint venture company owned by Canada's three leading wireless operators launched Zoompass(TM), a breakthrough mobile money transfer and payment service. Zoompass will dramatically change mobile telecom and payment services in Canada, allowing a fast and convenient way to send and receive money securely using a mobile phone.
A team of lawyers and patent and trade-mark agents from Fasken Martineau led by Lisa Abe advised EnStream on multiple aspects of the development, structuring and launch of the Zoompass service.
