Georges Dubé is a transactional corporate securities lawyer whose practise involves public and private offerings, take-over bids as well as mergers and acquisitions, both in the Canadian and cross-border context. Georges also practices in the corporate governance area and has acted for independent and special committees, or their financial advisors, of several public corporations. In 2005, part of Georges' time was spent working in the firm's Johannesburg office.
In January 2010, the Ontario Securities Commission appointed Georges to the Securities Advisory Committee (SAC) for a two-year term. The 12-member committee advises the Ontario Securities Commission on legislative and policy initiatives and trends in the marketplace.
Effective February 1, 2012, Georges completed a two-year term as the Vice-Chair of the Business Law Section of Fasken Martineau's practice in Ontario.
