H1N1 Influenza Flu Virus: Information for Employers

The H1N1 influenza virus has captured the attention of the global media, health authorities and the public. While it remains to be seen if H1N1 is a global health threat or an overblown story of global proportions, the impact for businesses can be very real, whatever the true health risks. In light of widespread concern, employers are encouraged to reinforce best practices for managing health risks in the workplace and consider enhanced measures for reducing the risks of exposure and spread of contagious viruses.
