John Kruk is a partner in our securities group specializing in advising investment managers. His experience includes all aspects of structuring, marketing, operating and restructuring a broad range of investment products and services including public and non-public mutual funds, closed-end funds, other structured products, segregated funds (individual variable insurance contracts) and private asset management services, and compliance issues relating to those products and services. He also has played central roles in the acquisition, reorganization of disposition of investment management businesses through public and private transactions. John has assisted the Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) - the Canadian mutual fund industry association - with submissions to Canadian securities regulators and with establishing guidelines for IFIC's members.
John has been a speaker at several industry conferences.
