June Paddock is a partner in Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP and Fasken Martineau LLP (London) and is the head of London's Corporate / Commercial practice group.
June's experience spans a wide range of corporate, commercial, capital markets and financing transactions. Her expertise reflects her background as an in-house banking lawyer and in the corporate department of Clifford Chance.
June's expertise covers both public (AIM and Official List) and private companies and acting for investors and investee companies alike. Transactions have included various financings, investment trust floats, private equity and joint venture agreements as well as a number of IPO's, takeovers and corporate acquisition and disposal work. She also has extensive experience of corporate reorganisations and restructurings in a variety of industry sectors.
Much of her work has involved cross-border transactions, particularly in health sciences and natural resources. In addition to transactional work, she has also been involved in advising in relation to high-profile shareholder revolts as well as corporate governance and related issues.
June is author of a number of articles on corporate law, including articles on AIM, as well as Tolley's Guide to Directors' Remuneration. In addition, she has written chapters for the Butterworths Financial Services Law Reporter on the prospectus regulations and on financial services compliance.
