Kevin Holbeche is an intellectual property lawyer and a registered patent agent in Canada and the United States. Kevin provides patentability and patent infringement and validity opinions, and he prepares, files and prosecutes patent applications in Canada, the US and, internationally, under the Patent Cooperation Treaty. He has a biology degree and has worked previously as an industrial laboratory researcher, computer programmer, engineering draftsman, website developer and desktop publisher. Kevin has patent experience with a wide-range of technologies – including biotech, business methods, communications, life sciences, mechanical, medical, industrial, and computing inventions, among others.
He is a registered trade-mark agent and provides legal advice for trade-mark, design and copyright matters. Kevin specializes in IP portfolio management (working with valued foreign associates in numerous jurisdictions) and due diligence, technology transfer, licensing, and enforcement matters.
Kevin builds long-term working relationships with clients. He tailors a strategic approach to fit the intellectual property needs of each individual and company.
