Laura Cooper is Vice-Chair of the Litigation Department section of the Toronto office. Laura is an experienced commercial litigator with extensive experience in class actions. Laura has represented clients in a variety of class actions including competition, product liability, mass torts and employment matters. Laura's practice in commercial litigation has focused on providing advice and representation to clients on a wide variety of commercial disputes, including claims in respect of breach of contract, misrepresentation, oppression, and breach of fiduciary duties. Laura has represented and advised clients in respect of injunctions, disputes arising from distributorship agreements and litigation in respect of technology agreements. Laura has also participated in complex alternate dispute resolution processes in respect of a number of matters and been involved in the development and implementation of a number of complicated settlement agreements.
