Lyne Duhaime works primarily in matters relating to pension plans, benefits and compensation. She acts a legal counsel on the implementation, management and termination of pension plans as well as on issues related to governance and compliance. She advises employers, pension plan administrators and investment managers on all aspects of law related to these areas. She is also involved in the audit and transfer of pension plans and benefits as part of business mergers and acquisitions. Lyne further advises employers on issues of total compensation including incentive plans. She has extensive experience in the area of personal information protection, particularly in the workplace, including the management of personal information as part of group insurance plans. Lyne spent a number of years practicing at one of the largest life and health insurers in Canada. She also practiced in London, England from 1999 to 2001.
Lyne Duhaime has published a book concerning pension plans, under the title "Les aspects juridiques des régimes de retraite", intended as the first publication in Quebec dedicated to the multiple legal aspects of the pension plans.
