Monica Dingle practises business law, focusing primarily on mergers and acquisitions and public financings. Monica joined Fasken Martineau in 2010, after having summered and articled with the firm.
Monica has collaborated on a number of transactions involving the acquisition, sale or merger of private or publicly-traded companies. Monica has acted on behalf of issuers and dealers in various securities offerings by Canadian issuers, both on a private placement basis and by way of prospectus. Monica also advises clients on general corporate law and governance matters.
Monica holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University (Kingston), a Bachelor of Civil Law from the Université de Montréal and a Bachelor of Common Law from the University of Victoria. Monica spent a year at IECS Strasbourg, a business school in Strasbourg, France, while completing her B.Comm and a semester at Paris II (Panthéon-Assas) during her civil law degree.
Prior to studying law, Monica worked at the Lima Chamber of Commerce in Peru and for a consulting firm in Ottawa involved in international economic development in Africa and Asia.
