Paul C. Wilson

Partner
Paul Wilson, partner, focuses his practice in the area involving major projects and government permits or approvals including public private partnerships, natural resource projects, energy projects and infrastructure projects. He has led the firm's legal teams in relation to several major projects, including preparing and negotiating project contracts, concession agreements, obtaining environmental assessment and permitting approvals, land use planning, real estate, development and project financing matters. He has authored numerous articles regarding environmental laws and liabilities including publications of CLE, NAIOP, Insight, various Real Estate Boards and the BC Science Council.

Paul leads the firm's Regional Public Private Partnership Group as well as the National Energy and Environmental Group.

After practicing at the firm for three years, Paul was seconded to the Legal Department of the Bank of British Columbia and worked as in-house counsel. He returned to the firm after one year and concentrated on the areas of major projects, project approvals, dealings with government agencies and finance.
