Rakesh Jhally is an associate at Fasken Martineau LLP (London) and a member of the Taxation Practice group.

He trained with a City firm in 2006, and then spent some time in the Capital Markets department of another large City practice before working in the International Tax department of a Canadian firm. His experience includes assisting in an admission to AIM in a £36 million transaction and assisting private clients on the taxation aspects of international estate planning structures. He has also assisted in advising Governments on tax information exchange initiatives.

Rakesh currently works on a broad range of taxation issues both domestically and internationally for corporations and individuals. He has an interest in bilateral trade between the UK and emerging economies, particularly India and has attended conferences at the European Parliament on this theme.
