Serge Guérette

Serge Guérette is a member of the commercial litigation sector. He primarily advises and represents insolvent corporations as part of formal and informal financial and corporate restructuring, including workout arrangements in accordance with the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act. He represents creditors in the collection or restructuring of secured and unsecured debt and advises buyers on the purchase of failing businesses and the purchase of assets in a context of insolvency. He is also active in litigation surrounding mergers, acquisitions and liquidations of public and private companies and carries out corporate arrangements in accordance with the Canada Business Corporations Act and Québec's Companies Act. He practices more generally in commercial and corporate litigation and is legal counsel to non-profit organizations.
