In 1982, Fasken Martineau became the first Toronto law firm to employ a full-time Student Program Director. Over the years, many other firms have joined us in realizing the importance of this role and have engaged full-time support for their student programs. We continue to refine our program to ensure our students are provided with a dynamic and challenging experience.
Our Student Committee is divided into two subcommittees:
The Student Development Committee is responsible for the hiring, development, supervision and training of our summer and articling students.
The Law School Liaison Committee is responsible for maintaining and fostering our connections with the law schools. Members of this committee are also involved in recruiting activities, including OCI's and resume review.
To assist you with questions you may have about our firm and/or our student program, please feel free to contact any member of our team.
