Tanvi Shah

Tanvi Shah is an associate in the London office of Fasken Martineau LLP and is a member of the Technology and Intellectual Property and Life Sciences practice groups.

Tanvi joined the firm on qualification in September 2009, having completed her training contract with Taylor Wessing LLP. During her training contract Tanvi gained wide-ranging experience in the Private Client, Corporate, Tax & Incentives and Intellectual Property departments.

Prior to this Tanvi obtained an MSc degree in Chemistry with Research Abroad (Germany) from Imperial College London, during which she carried out research in the field of biophysical chemistry at the Ludwig-Maximilians Universität, Munich.

Tanvi works on the full spectrum of intellectual property rights across a range of industries, focusing particularly on patent litigation within the life sciences and technology sectors. Her previous experience includes assisting with pan-European patent litigation proceedings within the pharmaceutical sector and obtaining evidence from UK-based witnesses for use in patent litigation proceedings in the US.
