On July 24, 2009, the Western Climate Initiative Offsets Committee issued a report that proposes definitions and criteria to determine eligible offsets for the purpose of developing an offset system. Further, the WCI is soliciting stakeholder feedback on the various options for design of an offset system presented in the report.
